Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Darshan Machhi Wala, we pride ourselves on delivering the freshest fish and seafood directly to your doorstep in Mukerian. This policy outlines our delivery process, timelines, charges, and terms.


1. Service Area

  • We currently deliver only within Mukerian and select nearby localities.

  • If your delivery address falls outside our service area, we will notify you immediately and arrange for an order cancellation or self-pickup option.


2. Delivery Timelines

  • Orders are generally delivered within 1–3 hours from the time of confirmation.

  • During peak seasons, bad weather, or high demand, delivery times may be slightly extended.

  • Customers will be informed of any delay via phone call or SMS.


3. Delivery Process

  • Once your order is confirmed, our team prepares the fish/seafood fresh and packages it to maintain quality.

  • We use hygienic, insulated, and moisture-safe packaging to ensure freshness upon arrival.

  • Delivery personnel will contact you prior to arrival to confirm you are available to receive the order.


4. Delivery Charges

  • Standard delivery charges (if applicable) will be displayed at checkout before order confirmation.

  • Occasionally, we may offer free delivery promotions for certain order values or special events.


5. Order Tracking & Updates

  • You will receive updates regarding your order status via phone call or SMS.

  • For same-day deliveries, real-time tracking is not currently available, but you can call our helpline for status updates.


6. Delivery Attempts

  • Our delivery personnel will make one delivery attempt to the address provided.

  • If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the order may be marked as undeliverable and will be returned to our store.

  • A re-delivery may be arranged at the customer’s expense, depending on product condition.


7. Delivery Restrictions

We cannot deliver to:

  • Addresses outside Mukerian service limits.

  • Locations that are inaccessible due to weather, flooding, strikes, or other uncontrollable circumstances.


8. Responsibility Upon Delivery

  • Once the order has been delivered and acknowledged by the customer or representative, the responsibility for product quality and storage shifts to the customer.

  • Please store the fish/seafood in refrigeration immediately after delivery.


9. Self Pickup Option

  • Customers can opt for self-pickup from our shop if preferred.

  • Self-pickup orders must be collected within the agreed time to ensure freshness.
